FAMES Hawaii (FAMES) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to Mentoring, Educating, Motivating and Leadership Development for entrepreneurs and business owners in Honolulu who have a business or want to start a business! It was formed in 2004 and holds their monthly business meetings at D&B’s Ward Centre.
FAMES holds a FREE full-day workshop each year in August to educate business owners and entrepreneurs about business networking for success! Guest speakers share their expertise and motivation, and breakfast and lunch and admission is FREE!! Featured speakers this year were Brian Andaya (C.O.O. of L&L Hawaiian Barbecue) on Business Legal Issues, Jan Kaeo (Co-owner of Dale Carnegie Hawaii) on Time Management, Kristen Robinson (Owner of KR Designs) on Social Networking Tools, Mark Spain (SBA Hawaii Director) on SBA Resources, and keynote speaker Christine Camp (CEO Avalon Development) on “Don’t Give Up!” Here are each of those speakers’ presentations with a lead-off 5-minute recap of the event, all produced by GOvideoHAWAII.
